There’s a combination of factors that make clementines and mandarins two of our favourite fruits. ClemenGold, in particular, tick all the right boxes: they’re left to ripen in the sun before being picked by hand, are sweet and juicy, have hardly any seeds and are also easy to peel.
Clementines always brighten up a breakfast fruit bowl, but you shouldn’t stop there – add slices to iced tea and for a special start to the day, layer rounds with pancakes from our bakery and yogurt. Use the zest and juice instead of the usual lemon in a classic drizzle cake, or have a go at homemade jaffa cakes.
