With a clean and mildly tangy taste, natural yogurt comes into its own at the beginning of
a healthy new year, and, while we all know it’s delicious with fruit and honey, it may just surprise you by adding to a savoury dish or two.
A breakfast bowl of banana, yogurt and blueberry is a nice way to start the day, while topping a pearl barley, blueberry and almond crumble loaf with yogurt is a pleasant way to end it.
Combine natural yogurt with tahini and honey to make a moreish dressing for falafel wraps, or create a low-fat tartare sauce by mixing with lemon juice, crème fraîche, parsley, capers and cornichons.
