Brilliant bakes, Easter treats and family dinners

Whatever your first memories of the kitchen are, baking is a brilliant place to start: sneaking a mouthful of not-yet-cooked batter or the sense of satisfaction when things turn out just right. It might be the perfect family activity, too: a fun, inexpensive way to spend the day (did someone say Easter holidays?) that nourishes creativity.

And remember, there may well be mess, but the results will be so worth it. Of course, baking can be as simple as decorating muffins with icing, dipping cookies into chocolate or topping Victoria sponge fresh from our bakery with strawberries and icing sugar. After all, it’s not just what you do in the kitchen that matters – it’s the fun you have and the moments you make.
