Marzipan eggs are a super-cute sweet hit at Easter. Add different colours of food dye to white marzipan, form into egg shapes and roll in grated dark chocolate.
This pastel egg wreath would make a lovely Easter decoration while the colourful wicker baskets are ideal for an egg hunt. Disposable bunny tablecloths, napkins and plates are just right for the children’s table.
RULE THE ROAST
Roast leg of lamb is an Easter lunch winner in our eyes – try coating it in mint sauce before cooking. Offer a twist on tradition by serving with romanesco cauliflower purée: cook florets in boiling salted water until tender, then blend to a smooth purée in a food processor with hot vegetable stock and a little butter.
BAKE YOURSELF A NEST EGG
Make cupcakes in Wilton’s Baking Cups, then top with swirls of buttercream, white chocolate shard nests and mini eggs.
Use a bunny rabbit cookie cutter to stamp out shapes from brownies bought in store. Dust generously with cocoa powder to serve.
