We all know it’s delicious with fruit and honey, but yogurt is also a winner in savoury dishes. Take a look at three quick and easy options for side dishes and salads – we used SpinneysFood vegetables and Rachel's organic yogurt:
Fry sliced mushrooms with chopped garlic until golden. Stir in a little Greek-style natural yogurt and mix with croutons and spinach. Serve topped with extra yogurt and garnished with lemon zest.
SPINACH AND YOGURT DIP
For an easy, healthy snack, blitz low-fat Greek-style natural yogurt with raw spinach in a food processor. Season with salt and plenty of black pepper. Finish with lemon zest and serve with crudités on the side for dipping.
CHICK PEA SALAD WITH YOGURT AND MINT
Combine chick peas with diced tomatoes, cucumber and chopped mint. Make a dressing from Greek-style natural yogurt, grated parmesan and lemon zest. Stir into the salad until well combined. Serve immediately.
