4 simple mix-and-match Christmas menus

If you’d prefer to do more relaxing than roasting this year, we’re here to help

These four menus guarantee restaurant-quality food with minimal effort for a stress-free festive season:

A no-cook starter and dessert with a ready-prepared turkey main – what could be easier?

STARTER: Prawn cocktail
Layer lettuce, cooked prawns and seafood sauce. Easy does it.

MAIN: Turkey breast with cranberry and orange marmalade stuffing
Ideal for lovers of white meat, our cranberry and orange marmalade-stuffed turkey breasts are finished with a tangy apricot glaze and will easily feed six to eight guests.

DESSERT: Fruit cake ice cream
For a refreshing end to the meal that calls for next to no work, stir crumbled fruit cake or Christmas pudding through softened vanilla ice cream.

Posh soup, a gorgeous joint of beef and a mincemeat pud that’s oh so simple to put together

STARTER: Soup with camembert and fig toasts
Serve your favourite soup with toasts topped with fig preserve and thick slices of camembert.

MAIN: Cracked black peppercorn and sea salt-crusted beef ribeye
With its honey and Djion mustard butter finish and sea salt crust, our ready-prepared ribeye roast makes a fabulous alternative to turkey. Served with a selection of festive sides, this will easily feed four to six.

DESSERT: Mincemeat puds
Layer whipped cream, mincemeat and shortbread in pretty little glasses and dust with icing sugar to finish.

A starter and pudding that can be ready in 10 minutes max and a stress-free centrepiece

STARTER: Smoked salmon rolls
Stir chopped chives into cream cheese. Spread over slices of smoked salmon and serve with lemon.

MAIN: Maple and chestnut-stuffed turkey crown
Topped with rashers of veal bacon, brushed with an apple and sage butter and filled with a delicious maple and chestnut stuffing, our ready-prepared turkey crown is an absolute stunner and feeds eight to 10 easily.

DESSERT: Spanish cheese platter
For those who prefer a savoury end, pair mild manchego with crusty bread, salty olives and caperberries.

A savvy combination of sweet and savoury ingredients makes Christmas dinner a doddle

STARTER: Rock melon and bresaola
Wrap chunks of rock melon in rocket and bresaola for a simple, pretty-looking starter.

MAIN: Candied ginger, peach and oat-stuffed turkey crown
For something a bit different, try our ready-rolled peach, ginger and oat-stuffed turkey crown. It comes topped with veal bacon and is finished with a sea salt and cracked black pepper butter. Serves eight to 10.

DESSERT: Festive fondue
Serve a bowl of melted chocolate with strips of panettone, dried fruit and clementines.
