Tear-and-share mustard and cheese garlic buns

Makes: 6 Prepare & Cook:


  • 100g softened butter, plus extra for greasing
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tbsp chopped spinneysFOOD Parsley
  • 6 potato bread buns
  • 100g spinneysFOOD Grated Cheddar


  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C, gas mark 5. Grease an ovenproof dish.
  2. In a bowl, beat together the butter, mustard, garlic and parsley.
  3. Arrange the potato buns in the dish. Make a cut in each one without slicing all the way down. Brush in and out with the butter, scatter the cheddar inside and press together. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the buns are golden and cheese has melted.
