Melting mango and orange smoothie pots

Makes: 2 Prepare & Cook:


  • 200g frozen mango pieces
  • juice of 2 oranges
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 2 x small fully sealable pots with lids
  • 2 x plastic spoons


  1. Put the mango, orange juice and chia seeds, if using, in a blender. Blitz until smooth and slushy.
  2. Divide the smoothie mixture between the yogurt pots and seal with the lids. Transfer to the freezer and leave overnight.
  3. The smoothies will take 1-3 hours to defrost, so remove them from the freezer accordingly. Shake the pots carefully to redistribute the ice crystals and fruit pulp before opening.

Top Tip

Turn the smoothie pots into easy ices by pouring the mixture into lolly moulds and freezing until solid.
